Train Peaks and Ari
An homage to David Lynch, Angelo Badalamenti, riding on trains, and my one true love, my darling child. A compilation of iPhone footage taken on a train trip from Gympie to Brisbane. No syncing or automation was used. A raw, analog and organic feel was the end goal. Some edits smooth and some deliberately jarring. An encapsulation of joy, moments captured and the sweetness of sorrow.

Just a cloud
Before one of my big birthdays I started an Instagram account that was just photos of me every morning when I woke up, most of them featuring me brushing my teeth. It was an exercise in spontaneous scheduled creativity and self worth. When it came time to make an animation of my new logo I knew I wanted to incorporate these images. I printed out the photos, my logo and an image of standing stones I captured on a road trip. My logo is a reflection of symbolism, ancestry and monolithic moments and structures and visiting the standing stones was a moment for me. My logo is me. To keep the theme going I re-used all my printed out pictures by putting them on ice-block sticks with my business name written on the stick and handed out many 'Me's on a stick' in lieu of business cards. Using and re-using, found objects and analog elements in my designs as well as incorporating full circle moments and homages is important to me and wanted to capture the essence of all of this into one short animation.
